DenSports Terms of Service

Last updated: 04 August 2026

Applies to: DenSports, operated by Den Sports, its website at densports.in, any DenSports application, and the DenSports store and service operations in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

1. Introduction

1.1 Why this policy exists

This single Legal Policy explains the rules that apply when a customer uses DenSports. It brings together the service terms, privacy information, booking and payment rules, cancellation and refund approach, Drop & Deliver process, and website-use rules in one place. Our aim is to make the service clear before a racket is handed over, not to bury important information in several separate documents.

DenSports is a Bengaluru-based sports retailer and professional racket restringing service. We do not charge a restringing fee; customers only pay for the cost of the string and any optional grip replacements. Our core Drop & Deliver service works in a specific order: the customer books, drops the racket at the DenSports store, DenSports inspects and services the racket, and DenSports attempts to deliver the completed racket to the selected eligible address. Drop & Deliver is not a home-pickup service. Customers must bring the racket to the store unless DenSports separately and expressly offers another service.

1.2 Acceptance and scope

This policy applies when a person visits our website or app, creates an account, makes a booking, drops off a racket, gives service instructions, pays, receives a completed racket, contacts support, uses a promotion, or accesses the DenSports Knowledge Hub. By doing any of those things, the customer agrees to this policy and confirms that the information provided is accurate.

If a customer is booking for another player, gifting a service, or sending a representative to drop off or receive a racket, the customer must ensure that the person is authorised and that this policy is shared with them where relevant. A parent or guardian must make or approve a booking for a minor where required by law or where the minor cannot validly enter the transaction.

1.3 Definitions used in this policy

“Customer”, “you”, and “your” mean the person who uses or books a DenSports service. “We”, “us”, and “our” mean DenSports and the legal business named above. “Racket” includes the frame, string bed, grip, grommets, and any accessories handed over with it. “Job” or “booking” means the service record created for up to a maximum of 3 rackets. “Service” includes restringing (which is free of cost), add-on grip replacement, and any other DenSports service displayed and accepted for the booking. “Delivery” means return delivery after store drop-off, not collection from your home.

1.4 Policy updates and legal rights

We may update this policy as our services, systems, or legal duties change. Updated terms will apply to future bookings from the stated “Last updated” date. For an accepted booking, the version in force when the booking was accepted normally applies unless a change is required by law, is needed for safety, or is more favourable to the customer. Nothing in this policy removes a consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be limited under Indian law.

2. Terms and Conditions

2.1 Eligibility, availability, and booking

You may use DenSports only for lawful, personal, or authorised business purposes. You must be capable of entering the transaction or act with the approval of a parent, guardian, or authorised person. We may decline, pause, or cancel a booking where the racket is unsafe to handle, the request is outside our capability, a material detail is incorrect, payment or contact details cannot be verified, the address is outside our active service area, or there is a reasonable fraud, abuse, or security concern.

Availability shown online is an invitation to request service, not a promise that every selection, time, material, or delivery option will be available. The booking becomes operationally accepted after the applicable store intake and our confirmation. We may contact you if the selected string is unavailable, the requested tension appears unsuitable, the inspection identifies a concern, or a price or timetable must change. We will not substitute a materially different string, tension, or paid add-on without your approval, except where you have expressly authorised a safe equivalent in advance.

2.2 Booking, drop-off, and delivery

Please bring the racket to the DenSports store during the communicated drop-off window. At intake, we may verify the customer or booking reference, identify the racket, record its visible condition, and confirm the service request. A booking can cover only the racket or rackets recorded at intake and the one delivery address confirmed for that job. If you have more than one racket, each must be identified clearly so our records match the physical item.

Once service is complete, we will make reasonable efforts to deliver the racket within the selected or communicated service window if the address remains eligible and a safe handover is possible. Delivery timing is an estimate unless a written guaranteed service level expressly says otherwise. Traffic, weather, capacity, stock, public restrictions, apartment access, technical issues, and other factors can affect timing. We will keep you informed of a material change through the registered contact channel where reasonably practicable.

2.3 Your responsibilities and our responsibilities

You must provide accurate name, phone number, address, racket details, known damage, requested service details, and payment information. You must remain reasonably reachable while a job is active, respond to approval requests, keep one authorised person available for delivery where selected, and treat store and delivery personnel respectfully. You must not ask staff to perform an unsafe service, give a false OTP or payment confirmation, or make a claim you know is untrue.

DenSports will use reasonable skill and care, maintain a traceable job record, handle the recorded racket with reasonable care, communicate material service or delivery changes, and provide transparent pricing information before a material change is made. We do not promise that every racket can be safely restrung, that every string will suit every player, or that an estimated timetable will be exact.

2.4 Service acceptance, delays, cancellations, and force majeure

Please inspect the racket at delivery or collection where reasonably possible. If you believe there is a service or delivery issue, contact us promptly with the booking reference and clear photos or video where relevant. Prompt reporting helps preserve evidence; it does not remove rights that apply under law. Cancellation, rescheduling, and refund rules are set out in Sections 4 and 5.

We are not responsible for delay or non-performance caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, flood, fire, public emergency, civil disturbance, strikes, government action, utility interruption, vehicle breakdown, supplier failure, network outage, or a safety risk. We will take reasonable steps to reduce the impact, keep you informed, and offer rescheduling, store collection, a refund, or another lawful solution where appropriate.

2.5 Governing law and contact

This policy is governed by the laws of India. Courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka may have jurisdiction for disputes, subject always to any mandatory consumer forum or other legal right available to you. For help with a booking, contact support@densports.in. For a formal grievance, use [grievance officer name, designation, email, phone, and postal address].

3. Privacy Policy

3.1 Information we collect

We collect information needed to provide and improve the DenSports service. This may include your name, mobile or WhatsApp number, email address if supplied, account identifier, communication preferences, booking history, racket details, selected strings and tension, inspection notes, support messages, and the content you choose to send us.

For Drop & Deliver, we may collect your delivery address, landmark, map pin, and GPS or other location information where you allow it or where it is needed to check serviceability or route delivery. We may collect service photographs, inspection photographs or video, delivery proof, the name of an authorised recipient, and handover notes. We use these records to identify the correct racket, record visible condition, manage quality, investigate concerns, and prevent fraud.

Payment and billing information may include the payment method, amount, payment reference, payment status, and refund information. We do not issue soft copy bills or invoices; a physical bill is provided with your returned racket. Payment providers process payment credentials through their own secure systems. Do not give our staff your card PIN, UPI PIN, password, OTP, or other secret. We will never ask you to disclose these secrets to validate a service booking.

We may also receive limited device and browser information, IP address, pages viewed, sign-in and security logs, cookie identifiers, approximate location derived from your device or address, and similar information needed for website function, security, analytics, fraud prevention, and performance improvement.

3.2 Why we use information

We use personal data to create and protect accounts; verify a booking; check serviceability; identify, inspect, service, and return a racket; process payments and invoices; send service updates; answer support requests; detect duplicate, fraudulent, or unsafe activity; keep business, tax, and legal records; and improve how customers use DenSports.

Where required by applicable law, we will give a clear notice and obtain consent before processing information for a purpose that requires consent. We may also process information where necessary to provide the requested service, comply with a legal obligation, protect security, establish or defend legal claims, or for another purpose allowed by law. We will not use data for a materially different purpose without the notice, consent, or other valid basis required by applicable law.

Service messages about your booking, payment, inspection, delivery, account security, or support case are not marketing. Promotional messages are optional. If we use marketing communications, you can opt out through the message, your account settings where available, or the support route. Opting out of marketing will not stop essential booking and security messages.

3.3 Sharing, retention, and security

We share only the information reasonably necessary with authorised DenSports staff and trusted providers who help us operate the service, such as payment processors, delivery partners, hosting and database providers, authentication providers, map or location providers, communications providers, billing providers, analytics providers, and professional advisers. Providers must use information only for authorised purposes and under appropriate safeguards. We may also disclose information to government authorities, regulators, insurers, police, courts, or other parties where required or permitted by law, or to protect people, property, and our legal rights. We do not sell personal data.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including service delivery, accounting and tax, payment reconciliation, warranty and complaint handling, fraud prevention, security, and legal obligations. Some records must be kept after an account or deletion request because the law, an unresolved issue, or a legitimate recordkeeping purpose requires it. We then delete, anonymise, or securely archive information according to our retention process.

We use reasonable organisational and technical safeguards, including role-based access, access controls, protected systems, limited staff access, and operational records. No digital service can promise absolute security. Keep your login details and OTPs private, use a secure device, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

3.4 Your rights, cookies, and children

Subject to applicable law, you may ask for access to, correction of, updating of, deletion of, or information about your personal data; withdraw consent where processing relies on consent; object to optional marketing; or raise a privacy concern. Send the request to support@densports.in with your registered phone number or email, the request type, and enough information for us to verify your identity. We may ask for reasonable verification and will explain when we cannot complete a request because of a legal, security, tax, accounting, or dispute-related reason.

We may use cookies, session tokens, local storage, and similar technologies for login, security, preference saving, performance measurement, and website analytics. Where the law requires it, we will provide the relevant notice and choice. You can also manage cookies in your browser, though disabling essential cookies may limit parts of the website.

DenSports is not designed to collect personal data from children independently. If a minor uses the service, the parent or guardian should make or approve the booking and supervise the information shared with us. We will handle children’s data in accordance with applicable law and may ask for parental or guardian involvement when appropriate.

4. Refund Policy

4.1 When a refund may be available

We assess refund requests fairly and against the actual service record. A full or partial refund, correction, re-performance, credit, or another remedy may be appropriate where DenSports cancels an accepted booking, cannot provide the confirmed service, takes a duplicate payment, confirms an incorrect charge, or confirms a service issue for which a remedy is appropriate. If a payment fails but your account is debited, we will help verify the transaction with the payment provider before deciding the next step.

If a selected string or essential material is unavailable, we will offer a reasonable choice before service begins: an approved alternative with any price difference explained, rescheduling, store collection if relevant, or cancellation and the applicable refund. If we cancel for an operational reason after taking an eligible payment and cannot provide a suitable alternative, we will process the appropriate refund.

4.2 When a refund is normally not available

A completed service is not automatically refundable because a customer changes their mind, prefers a different string feel, or later chooses a different tension. Once restringing or another irreversible step has started, material may have been consumed and work performed. A cancellation at that point may not be possible and any refund will depend on the actual stage of the job, unused value, and rights available under law.

Refunds are also not normally due for a problem caused only by an incorrect address, repeated customer unavailability, refusal to complete an agreed payment, a customer-provided defective string or grip, post-handover impact or misuse, normal string settling or wear, an undisclosed pre-existing defect, or third-party work after handover. This list does not allow DenSports to avoid a remedy where it is legally responsible for a genuine service failure.

4.3 How refunds are processed

Please report a payment, service, or delivery concern promptly with your name, registered contact number, booking reference, payment reference where relevant, and supporting photos or video. We may inspect the racket, payment record, inspection evidence, delivery proof, and communications before confirming an outcome. We recommend raising a service concern within 48 hours of handover and before significant further play or third-party work where possible. That is an evidence guideline, not a restriction on statutory rights.

Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method. If that is not practical, we will agree another lawful method with you. We aim to initiate an approved refund within seven business days after confirmation; banks, UPI systems, card networks, or payment providers may take additional time to credit the amount. We will tell you the approved amount, method, and reference where available. Any partial refund will explain what it covers.

4.4 Exceptional cases and escalation

Some cases need a deeper review, especially a reported frame break, transport issue, disputed payment, alleged duplicate booking, or safety concern. We may ask to inspect the racket or collect further evidence before deciding. We will not treat a complicated case as rejected merely because it requires time to investigate. If you disagree with the initial outcome, you may request review through the grievance contact in Section 2.5, without giving up any consumer remedy available under law.

5. Cancellation Policy

5.1 Customer cancellation and rescheduling

You may cancel or ask to reschedule before store drop-off through the booking or support route. If no payment has been collected, no refund is needed. If eligible payment has been collected, we will process the request under Section 4. Please cancel early if you cannot drop the racket so that another customer may use the service capacity.

After drop-off but before inspection or work begins, we will try to accommodate cancellation or a change in service selection. We will tell you if the requested change affects price, materials, or the delivery timetable. After inspection, a requested change may require a revised quote or new approval. We will not begin a material additional service without your approval unless urgent action is needed solely to prevent immediate damage and you previously authorised that limited discretion.

Once restringing has started, a change of tension, string, colour, grip, or other material requirement may not be possible. We will not unwind or restart completed work simply because a customer changes their preference after the irreversible step begins. If a genuine service error is reported, Section 4 still applies.

5.2 Cancellation by DenSports

We may cancel, decline, or reschedule a booking for capacity limits, material unavailability, an unsafe or damaged racket, a request outside our expertise, incorrect booking information, an address outside the service area, technical failure, payment concern, safety concern, fraud concern, severe weather, public emergency, or another reasonable operational reason. We will explain the practical reason and the available next step where reasonably possible.

If we cancel before work begins, we will offer rescheduling, an approved alternative, store collection of the unserviced racket, or the applicable refund. If we must stop after inspection or work begins because of a newly discovered safety risk or hidden defect, we will explain what was found and assess payment or remedy based on the service actually and safely performed, subject to applicable law.

6. Drop and Delivery Policy

6.1 Store drop-off and verification

Drop & Deliver begins only when you personally or through an authorised representative drop the racket at the DenSports store. We do not collect the racket from your residence under this policy. At intake, we may check the booking reference, contact details, visible racket identity, requested service, one delivery address, and the condition of the racket. We may ask you to confirm the string, tension, and any known issues before accepting the job.

We may photograph or video the racket, its frame, grommets, grip, existing marks, and relevant accessories at intake or during inspection. This is a service and evidence record, not a promise that every hidden defect can be identified. You may ask what is recorded for your job through the support route, subject to privacy and security controls.

6.2 Delivery address, slot, and authorised recipient

Each job has one delivery address. You must provide a complete, serviceable address, landmark or access instruction where helpful, and a working phone number. A change of address after booking is subject to serviceability, route capacity, price confirmation where relevant, and timing. We may require fresh confirmation before sending a racket to a changed address.

We may communicate a delivery date, slot, or estimated arrival range. These windows support route planning and are not a promise of an exact arrival minute. You or an authorised adult recipient should be available and reachable. We may request a booking reference, OTP, name confirmation, signature, photograph, or other reasonable delivery proof. You are responsible for authorising any other recipient and for keeping the OTP or delivery confirmation private.

6.3 Failed attempts, waiting, and store collection

A delivery attempt may be unsuccessful if nobody authorised is available, calls or messages are unanswered, the address is wrong or inaccessible, apartment or security access is denied, weather or safety makes handover unsafe, payment that is properly due is not completed, or the recipient refuses to provide a reasonable confirmation. Delivery personnel will wait only for a reasonable operational period and may continue their route if handover cannot safely occur.

We may make up to two reasonable delivery attempts for a job. After a second unsuccessful attempt, the booking changes to store collection and you must collect the racket from the DenSports store during the communicated collection hours. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you. No automatic refund is due merely because delivery changes to store collection after the service is completed. We will hold the racket with reasonable care while we contact you and follow applicable law for any longer-term uncollected property process.

6.4 Proof of delivery and transport care

We use reasonable care in packing, handling, and transport. Delivery proof may include a time stamp, recipient confirmation, OTP confirmation, signature, photo, location or route record, and delivery notes. Please check the exterior condition at handover if possible and report any transport concern promptly. The proof does not prevent a genuine investigation; it helps us confirm the handover and assess what happened.

7. Service Policy for Racket Restringing and Grip Replacement

7.1 Inspection and approval

Before work, we may inspect visible frame condition, paint chips, cracks, deformation, loose handles, worn or broken grommets, grip condition, existing strings, missing parts, and any other condition relevant to safe restringing. We may document visible concerns with photographs or video. If the inspection shows a material risk, unsuitable tension, unexpected damage, or a need for additional work, we may contact you for approval, revised timing, or cancellation before proceeding.

Inspection is limited by what is reasonably visible and testable without destructive examination. It cannot guarantee that a frame is free from hidden cracks, internal carbon fatigue, weakened resin, manufacturer defects, prior impact damage, improper earlier stringing, or age-related loss of strength. A racket can fail during ordinary service when a hidden weakness exists even if the visible inspection did not identify it.

7.2 Tension, strings, grips, and customer choices

DenSports does not charge a labor fee for restringing; you only pay for the string selected and any grip replacements added to the job. Grip replacement is an optional add-on service.

We may recommend a tension based on the information available, but the final choice remains yours unless we refuse an unsafe request. A recommendation is not a guarantee of feel, durability, injury prevention, or performance. You should consider the racket manufacturer’s guidance, the frame’s known condition, your playing style, and the risks of higher tension.

If you choose a tension above a stated manufacturer recommendation, a confirmed safe range, or our normal recommendation, we may ask for a separate acknowledgement or decline the request. High tension increases stress on the frame and may increase the risk of breakage, especially for older, previously damaged, or heavily used rackets. We will not knowingly perform a request that our trained staff reasonably consider unsafe.

You may select a DenSports-supplied string or, where we agree, provide your own string. Customer-supplied strings may be old, badly stored, counterfeit, defective, too short, previously used, or unsuitable for the requested pattern or tension. We can inspect them reasonably but cannot guarantee their condition. If a customer-supplied string snaps, frays, proves insufficient, or cannot be safely used during installation, we will contact you about an alternative, a revised charge, or stopping the service.

7.3 Workmanship and normal variation

We aim for professional workmanship and quality control appropriate to the booked service. String tension can settle after installation and may vary within normal technical tolerances. String life also depends on string type, tension, player technique, shuttle impact, storage, racket condition, and frequency of use. A string break or performance preference alone does not prove defective workmanship, but we will assess a genuine concern fairly.

8. Warranty and Liability

8.1 What we stand behind

DenSports stands behind its commitment to use reasonable skill and care in performing the booked service and handling a racket that it has accepted. If we confirm that our workmanship did not meet that standard, we may reperform the affected service, replace the affected DenSports-supplied material where appropriate, provide a partial or full refund, or provide another lawful remedy after considering the evidence and applicable law.

8.2 Exclusions and risk allocation

To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee against loss or damage caused solely by a hidden structural defect, carbon fatigue, old age, normal wear and tear, manufacturer defect, previous stringing or repair, prior impact, customer misuse, a customer-supplied string or grip, missing or faulty grommets, or post-handover damage. We are not responsible for accessories that were not recorded at intake or for valuables left in a racket cover unless we expressly agree in writing to hold them.

For transport, we will assess reports using the intake record, packing record, delivery evidence, recipient confirmation, and any available photos. Do not use the racket if you believe it has been damaged in transit; contact us promptly so we can investigate before further use changes the evidence.

8.3 Maximum liability and excluded losses

Nothing in this policy excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability arising from fraud, wilful misconduct, or a consumer right that applies despite a contractual term. Subject to that rule and applicable law, DenSports’ responsibility for a verified direct loss caused by its failure will be limited to an appropriate remedy for the affected booking, taking account of the amount paid, the racket’s documented age and condition, and the actual evidence of responsibility.

We do not accept liability for indirect or consequential losses, including tournament entry costs, lost opportunity, lost winnings, travel costs, personal inconvenience, loss of training time, loss of reputation, or expected performance improvement. We do not promise that a string, tension, grip, or Knowledge Hub recommendation will improve performance or prevent injury. This section is intended to allocate reasonable commercial risk and does not override mandatory consumer protection law.

9. Payment Policy

9.1 Available methods and confirmation

The payment methods shown at booking, store intake, or delivery are the methods available for that transaction. Depending on the service and operational setup, these may include online payment, UPI, card payment, cash, or cash on delivery where expressly offered. We may require payment before work begins, before release at delivery, or at collection, provided that the applicable requirement and price are clearly communicated.

An online payment is not treated as confirmed merely because a customer sees a bank debit or submits a payment screen. We may wait for confirmation from the payment provider. If a transaction is pending, failed, duplicated, or reversed, we may ask for the payment reference and may delay handover until the correct status is verified. We will not ask for a card PIN, UPI PIN, password, or OTP to solve a payment issue.

9.2 Price, invoices, GST, and changes

The price shown before booking may be an estimate if the final service, materials, condition, or delivery eligibility need confirmation. Before a material price increase or added work, we will explain the reason and seek your approval. The final price will reflect the accepted service selection (string and grip materials), any approved changes, eligible promotions, applicable delivery fees, and taxes. Where GST or other tax applies, it will be reflected as required by law on the physical bill. We do not provide soft copies of bills; you will receive a physical bill from DenSports with your returned racket(s).

For Drop & Deliver, there is a separate, flat delivery fee applied to the whole booking. A single booking can include a maximum of 3 rackets, and the delivery fee covers the entire booking regardless of whether it contains 1 or 3 rackets.

We may revise prices for future bookings. A confirmed price will not be changed after acceptance unless you approve a material change, the booking contained a clear error, tax law requires a change, or a permitted condition of this policy applies. Discounts, coupons, and promotional prices are governed by Section 13. Any confirmed outstanding balance must be paid before release of the racket, subject to applicable law.

10. Delivery Service Level Agreement

10.1 Standard and express service

The target turnaround and return-delivery window communicated for a booking are service estimates based on current capacity, materials, and route planning. “Standard” service means the normal turnaround displayed or communicated for the accepted booking. “Express” service may be offered in the future for selected services, locations, and capacity; it is available only when expressly confirmed and may have different eligibility, price, or cut-off rules.

An estimated date or slot is not a guarantee that the racket will be delivered at an exact time. We will use reasonable efforts to meet the communicated plan and will update you when a material delay is known. You may choose store collection where that option is available and suitable for the job.

10.2 Delay events and communication

Delays may result from weather, traffic, public holidays, road restrictions, safety incidents, staff illness, technical failure, payment verification, material availability, delivery capacity, address access, apartment restrictions, power interruption, or an unexpected inspection finding. We will not silently substitute a delivery date when a material delay is known; we will try to send a status update through the registered contact route.

If a delay means we cannot perform the accepted service within a reasonable time, we will discuss appropriate options, which may include rescheduling, an alternative material or service with approval, store collection, cancellation before irreversible work, or a remedy under Section 4. The appropriate option depends on the exact job status and applicable law.

11. Inspection Policy

11.1 What our inspection covers

Our intake and pre-service inspection may include the racket identifier, visible frame and shaft condition, head shape, paint marks, cracks, string bed, grommets, grip or handle condition, accessories, and the service request. We may record photographs and, where helpful, video. The level of documentation may vary with the service, condition, and operational need.

If we find existing damage or a material risk, we may record it, tell you what we observed, recommend a safer option, ask for approval, or refuse the service. A customer may be asked to acknowledge the condition note. Refusal to acknowledge does not make the condition disappear; we may decline the job if we cannot responsibly proceed.

11.2 Hidden defects and additional work

An inspection does not dismantle the racket or guarantee that no internal weakness exists. A hidden defect can become visible only under stringing load or after normal use. We will not represent a visual inspection as a structural certification.

If extra work, replacement parts, or a change in service becomes necessary, we will explain the issue and seek approval before the additional work where feasible. We may stop work rather than continue where a risk is unacceptable. Existing photos, video, notes, customer communications, and service records may be used to assess a later claim fairly.

12. Service Area Policy

12.1 Current service area

DenSports operates from Bengaluru, Karnataka. Return delivery is available only to addresses that the booking system or our team confirms as serviceable at the time of booking. Serviceability may depend on the address, pincode, map pin, distance, route, capacity, safety, and delivery-zone settings. A location that is normally serviceable may occasionally be unavailable because of exceptional operational conditions.

12.2 Expansion, remote locations, and refusal

We may add, reduce, or change service areas as the business grows. Delivery is not promised to remote, restricted, unsafe, inaccessible, or impracticable locations. If an address is outside the active service area, we may offer store collection or decline the Drop & Deliver option. We will not arrange an informal home pickup under this policy simply because an address is outside the delivery area.

Any additional price impact for a different fulfilment choice will be shown or approved before acceptance. If a location becomes unavailable after a booking, we will discuss a reasonable option such as a changed eligible address, rescheduling, or store collection.

13. Promotional Offers

13.1 Coupons and eligibility

Coupons, referral rewards, discounts, and promotional pricing apply only when displayed or communicated by DenSports and when the stated eligibility conditions are met. Unless we say otherwise, an offer is personal, non-transferable, has no cash value, cannot be sold, and cannot be combined with another offer. An offer may be limited by date, customer, service, location, material, stock, payment method, or booking status.

Enter a coupon before the cut-off shown in the booking flow. We may reject a code that is expired, altered, obtained through unauthorised means, applied to an ineligible booking, or affected by a technical error. A booking is not entitled to a promotion until the system or DenSports confirms it.

13.2 Changes and misuse

We may modify, pause, or withdraw a promotion for future use, subject to applicable law. If a valid promotion was already applied to an accepted booking, we will honour it unless there is a clear error, fraud, or material breach of the stated terms. We may remove a benefit, suspend an account, or recover an incorrectly granted benefit where there is reasonable evidence of abuse, duplicate accounts, fraudulent referrals, automated code use, or tampering. We will not use this right to deny a valid consumer remedy.

14. Knowledge Hub Disclaimer

The DenSports Knowledge Hub may include articles, guides, calculators, comparison tools, string or tension suggestions, product information, and general badminton racket-care content. It is educational and informational. It is not professional coaching, medical, physiotherapy, injury-prevention, manufacturer, legal, or financial advice.

Any recommendation reflects general information and the facts available at the time. It does not guarantee that a product, string, tension, exercise, or technique will improve performance, avoid injury, suit every racket, or achieve a particular result. Players should consider their own ability, racket manufacturer guidance, health, coach advice, and playing conditions. Do not rely on a calculator or guide as a substitute for a personal inspection of a damaged racket.

We may update or remove Knowledge Hub content without notice. References to brands, products, or techniques do not create an endorsement, warranty, or affiliation unless we expressly say so.

15. Website and App Usage

15.1 Accounts, OTPs, and accurate use

You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login, password, and OTP secure. Do not share an OTP with staff or another person except an authorised recipient at the moment it is requested for a valid handover. Tell us promptly if you suspect account misuse. We may use reasonable identity, device, or activity checks to protect accounts and bookings.

You must not make fake, duplicate, speculative, abusive, or fraudulent bookings; spam our support channels; impersonate someone else; interfere with a delivery; or misuse a promotion. We may cancel or restrict suspicious activity, preserve relevant records, and take lawful action where necessary.

15.2 Prohibited technical conduct and intellectual property

You must not use bots, scrapers, spiders, automation, scripts, reverse engineering, decompilation, probing, security testing without written permission, credential stuffing, unauthorised access, or any act that disrupts the website, app, payment flow, or connected systems. You must not upload malware or content that is unlawful, abusive, infringing, or harmful.

The DenSports name, logo, website content, text, graphics, software, and original Knowledge Hub materials are owned by or licensed to DenSports and protected by applicable law. You may use the service for its intended personal purpose. You may not copy, republish, sell, or exploit our materials or service data without written permission, except where law allows it.

16. Customer Responsibilities

You have a practical role in making the service safe and accurate. Please provide correct account, booking, payment, delivery, and racket information; disclose known cracks, repairs, impacts, weak grommets, loose handles, or unusual history; and choose a string and tension with a realistic understanding of the racket’s condition. Ask questions before we begin if you are unsure.

Bring the racket to the store on time, keep the booking reference available, and remove personal valuables from covers or bags. Respond promptly to inspection or substitution requests. For delivery, keep the one confirmed address accurate, ensure access is safe and lawful, remain reachable, and arrange an authorised adult recipient where needed. If you are unavailable after delivery is scheduled, contact us promptly rather than expecting delivery staff to wait indefinitely.

Treat our staff, delivery personnel, other customers, and systems respectfully. Do not threaten, harass, discriminate against, or place staff in an unsafe situation. Do not misuse OTPs, chargeback processes, coupons, or support routes. If these responsibilities are not met, we may need to reschedule, change to store collection, refuse service, or restrict access, while respecting rights that apply under law.

17. DenSports Responsibilities

DenSports commits to professional workmanship, reasonable care, clear service records, transparent communication about material changes, sensible handling of customer information, and reasonable delivery efforts for eligible Drop & Deliver bookings. We will inspect a racket to the extent reasonably possible, explain a material condition or safety concern we identify, seek approval before material additional work, and keep a record that helps both sides understand the job.

We will make prices, the applicable payment requirement, material delivery limitations, and the fact that Drop & Deliver requires store drop-off reasonably clear. We will treat support cases and privacy requests with appropriate care, use personal data only for the purposes described or otherwise allowed by law, and work to keep operational access limited to people who need it.

These commitments are standards of reasonable service, not a promise that every hidden defect will be found, every journey will run exactly on time, every preference can be fulfilled, or every racket can safely tolerate the customer’s chosen tension. Where something goes wrong, we will assess the evidence and seek an appropriate lawful solution rather than applying a blanket response.

18. Common Edge Cases

18.1 Changes after work starts

If you change your mind about tension, string, colour, or grip after restringing begins, we may be unable to change the job because the string has been cut, installed, or tensioned. We will explain the status and may offer a new paid service if appropriate. A change of preference is different from a confirmed workmanship error.

18.2 Frame or string failure during service

If a frame breaks during stringing, we will stop, preserve the relevant record, and review the visible condition, prior history disclosed, inspection notes, tension, and service process. A break can result from a hidden crack, carbon fatigue, age, earlier impact, defective grommets, manufacturer defect, or high tension; it is not automatically proof of fault by either party. If a customer-supplied string breaks during installation, we will similarly assess whether a safe alternative or cancellation is appropriate.

18.3 Address and availability problems

If the address is wrong, your phone is switched off, an apartment denies access, no authorised recipient is present, or the recipient cannot complete a reasonable verification, the attempt may fail. We may reschedule a first failure. After the second failed attempt, the job becomes store collection. Keep your contact details updated and contact support quickly if an attempted delivery did not occur as expected.

18.4 Operational disruption

Extreme weather, flood, natural disaster, major public event, road closure, vehicle breakdown, power failure, technical outage, payment-network interruption, staff safety issue, or another force-majeure event may delay service or delivery. We will prioritise safe handling of the racket, communicate when practical, and offer an appropriate next step. An emergency does not create a promise of immediate replacement delivery or compensation for indirect losses.

18.5 Duplicate or fraudulent bookings

If the system or a customer creates duplicate bookings, we may consolidate, cancel, or refund an unused duplicate after checking the records. If a booking appears fraudulent, abusive, or designed to obtain a benefit improperly, we may pause it, request verification, limit account access, and preserve evidence. We will not assume fraud simply because a customer raises a genuine concern or asks for a lawful refund.
